The Plano African American Museum celebrated its soft opening during the Juneteenth Celebration after 11 years. PAAM is still undergoing upgrades and capacity building, but welcomes all visitors during normal business hours and for private tours.
The Plano African American Museum was established in 2002. It has been a long journey to open the Museum to the public. We are thankful for the work of our founders, board and community leaders to make this dream a reality.
The Plano African American Museum relies on support from a wide range of local and national sources. There are many ways you can grow and preserve our authentic collections for future generations.
If you have items to share, please contact us for delivery.
